Chris?s career in the insurance industry started in an insurance broking business in Blackpool in 1992.

During the course of this role he developed a keen interest in motor claims and started to specialise in this area. Following a 2 year spell working for a specialist legal firm he quickly moved on to become the Managing Director of Auto Indemnity Limited in 1997.

Chris was part of the management team that took the business public on the AIM market and joined the original executive board of Auto Indemnity plc as Commercial Director aged 26. Having helped the business grow to become one of the UK?s leading accident management brands he left to join Drive Assist in 2002.

Over the next 7 years Chris oversaw all sales and commercial aspects of the insurance business during a period in which profits grew from £1m per annum to £30m per annum culminating in Drive Assist becoming the UK?s largest provider of credit hire services. Chris has represented the credit hire sector at trade association and ABI levels during the period of implementing the GTA and is a regular speaker at corporate events.

Chris, now aged 37, established Crashworth in January 2010 to provide innovative solutions to the insurance claims industry. The business has expanded rapidly since its inception and is working with many organisations, all of whom are market leaders in various sectors of the motor claims industry.

As well as enjoying the excitement of creating a new business Chris is a keen golfer, traveller and enjoys spending time with his partner Kerry and young daughter Daisy.
