Church House conference centre in the heart of Westminster was the place to be for Home and Commercial Claims professionals last Friday [18 September] as ILC held its first-ever networking lunch for the two sectors.
More than 250 delegates attended the lunch and were treated to a sumptuous three-course meal, whilst reacquainting themselves with old colleagues and forging new connections in the pre- and post-lunch bar.
Former BBC political correspondent John Sergeant acted as guest speaker for the event and provided memorable after-dinner entertainment in an anecdote-packed speech.
This was followed by a draw in aid of our charity partner Rainbow Trust which raised a tremendous total of £2,829.
We’ve had some wonderful feedback on the event, which was sponsored by the Revival Company, Riig Limited, Signet, Stream, Davies, Belfor and the Gelder Group and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our delegates for coming and sponsors for lending their top-of-the-range names to our event.
Watching delegates get to know new people and greeting old friends so happily, it confirmed to us that our events really do help us to be “Better Tomorrow Through What We Learn Today”.
If you missed out on attending the networking lunch, fear not! Our Home Claims conference is in November – you can register to attend it here.
