Liam joined the construction industry in 1984 via the CITB Youth Training Scheme Apprenticeship in Joinery. He spent twelve years with Balfour Beatty Building gaining BTEC, HNC, CITB, HND and CIOB qualifications. He joined The Forshaw Group in 1995 that is now recognised as an award winning Insurance Building Repair Specialist.

Marc Pettican, MD, Barclaycard Commercial Business Payments
With over 20 years in the commercial payments sector, Marc Pettican has seen significant development in technology and innovation, and often been a driving force in shaping this for customers.
He started with Barclays in 1988, with the majority of his experience in a succession of senior sales, account management and leadership roles in Barclaycard Business Solutions including payment acceptance. Most recently as Managing Director of Barclaycard’s newest partner, The Logic Group. He has recently taken up a new role as Managing Director for Barclaycard Commercial Payments.

William has a wide perspective on the industry, having spent 20 years working exclusively across General Insurance claims. He entered the market in 1997 with Royal & Sun Alliance, spent 10 years with insurers RSA, NHBC and L&G, as well as 10 years in the claims management area with Crawford’s, The Innovation Group and LAS.
His current responsibility is for the L&G UK General Insurance supply chain, including MGA supply chain arrangements. This covers professional services (adjusting, surveying etc.), goods (contents, carpets), glazing, LGRS (Legal & General Repair Solutions network) and procurement. solution.

Elvire Nicaise-Davies, Senior Manager, LBG Insurance
Prior to joining Lloyds Banking Group, Elvire worked for blue chip automotive and aerospace companies. These roles involved leading internationally-based, multi-disciplined teams and playing some key roles, including sourcing manager, project manager and European supply chain manager. Elvire was subsequently involved in some of the 21st century largest manufacturing projects. Elvire is CIPS qualified and obtained an MBA from Cardiff University.
Keith Walters, Head of Oriel, Oriel Services
Keith has worked in the insurance industry for just over 30 years, with wide ranging roles in both underwriting and claims environments for Insurers and loss adjusters. He has spent the last 15 years with Cunningham Lindsey, in national adjusting and construction roles across volume and major loss markets. Since 2013 Keith has headed up Oriel, a building restoration and repair network company owned by the Cunningham Lindsey group.
