Jason Powell

CEO, Premier Medical Group

Jason’s first degree was a First Class Honours in Business Studies at Westminster University, followed by an MBA at Cranfield.  Jason is also a qualified Chartered Management Accountant.

Early in his career Jason was Commercial Director at BPCC and then joined BUPA as the Financial Controller before being promoted to Head of Business Innovation which involved the development of a new division called BUPA Recover and a multi-million pound Indian outsourcing project.

In 2006 Jason Powell joined Premier Medical, initially as Managing Director and was soon elevated to Chief Executive Officer.  In three years Jason has been at the forefront of both an acquisition and diversification strategy which has taken the Premier Medical Group to market leader.  Premier Medical now operates from over 150 locations nationwide and in 2009 opened its flagship clinic, Prognostic Health, in Fitzrovia.

Further projects are ongoing, including the development and adapting of new technologies and lateralisation into life insurance and occupational health.

Jason is active in the various trade associations and is a respected speaker at corporate events throughout the country and also a regular contributor to publications.  In his leisure time he enjoys exercise, running, golf, skiing, mountain biking and captains the Premier Medical football team.  

Jason is married to Helen, and father of two daughters and a son born in 2009.
