Mike Nigro

UK Managing Director, Enterprise Rent A Car

As the Senior Vice President / Managing Director of the UK and Ireland operations for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Mike Nigro is responsible for the successful development of Enterprise in these regions.  Mike has been fundamental in the growth of Enterprise groups in both the US and the UK through, amongst other things, the development of key personnel, and now takes ultimate responsibility for the success of the 350 branches of Enterprise in the UK and Ireland.

Like the majority of Enterprise?s officers, Mike began his career on the Enterprise Management Training Programme.  Initially recruited to the San Diego branch in 1984, Mike worked his way up to the Area Manager position.  In 1995 he was promoted to Regional Vice President for the New York City region.  Here he took personal responsibility for helping to develop a large number of Enterprise employees, contributing to phenomenal growth within the region during his nine year tenure.  Following this time, Mike?s success was rewarded with a further promotion to the position of Vice President of Rental for the entire New York Group.

In 2006 Mike moved to the UK as Director for London and the South East.  Here he was able to leverage his experience gained in New York to develop Enterprise?s largest European group. Under Mike?s leadership the group also won a number of prestigious global Enterprise Rent-A-Car awards for his commitment to growth, customer service and employee development.

In 2008 Mike stepped into his latest position where his goal has been to further grow the UK and Ireland operations, whilst improving the customer-centric ethos that underpins Enterprise.
