Talent expert joins ILC as New Generation lead

Talent and employee engagement expert James Lambert has joined ILC to support the continued development of its New Generation programme.

James, Founder of newly launched Engage to Succeed, will help lead the ongoing evolution and growth of ILC’s New Generation proposition. James was a keynote speaker at ILC’s inaugural New Generation conference which took place in April 2023.

James has previously held senior posts within talent acquisition for major organisations such as Manpower Group, Alexander Mann Solutions, Vertiv and most recently Capita where he was Global Director of Talent Acquisition leading on global strategy and delivery and responsible for all hires across Capita. In 2022 he lead a team that delivered 27,000 new hires into the business.

Engage to Succeed has been developed to make employee engagement ‘real’ and is built on a simple 3Ps of Engagement model. It looks at passion, performance and productivity designed to help employees engage themselves and drive career performance whilst supporting managers to build high performing teams.

James said, “I am super excited to join the ILC team and support the insurance industry with building robust, creative and forward thinking strategies to support the New Generation proposition. Bringing my wealth of talent acquisition experience and my passion for driving engagement I believe we can build something that is significantly different.
