ILC conference to tackle the data conundrum

ILC’s annual Home and Property Claims Conference will bring together more than 400 key sector stakeholders to share insights and discuss the information critical to an effective claims journey of the future.
Through a series of expert presentations and panel debates, the event, which takes place at the CBS Arena, Coventry, on 10 November, will focus on the sustainability challenge facing the industry and the value of information in keeping claims simple, efficient and cost-effective.
The event could not be more timely; as the quantity of available data escalates through technologies such as AI, satellites and traditional communications, it can be hard to isolate and analyse the information that really matters.
The Home and Property Claims Conference will seek to unpick that conundrum by delving deep into the practicalities of understanding, gathering and interpreting the relevant data that is necessary to reduce carbon impact, improve risk management, claims tracking, claims measuring, cost control and customer service.
Aimed at insurers and suppliers alike, with support from Headline Sponsor: WeatherNet as well as Gold Sponsors: Catalyst, Perfect group and Rainbow International, and Silver Sponsors: A3 Accommodation Connect, Gateley Vinden, LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Polygon, QuestGates and SD Claims, the event will be attended by CEOs, directors, claims managers, supply chain managers, underwriters, loss adjusters, building contractors and disaster restoration experts, providing a unique opportunity for face-to-face networking.
Alan Soutar, Chairman, ILC Home and Property, said, “It’s the age of information, but it’s easy to become confused by the sheer quantity of data that is out there. Through insights and shared experiences from a stellar line up of experts, the Home and Property Claims Conference will help the market understand what it needs to know to keep it simple and straightforward at the delivery end of the claim.”
