
A stellar line-up has been confirmed for the Environmental Challenges of Property Claims event, which takes place at 200 Aldersgate, London, on 9 June.
The specialist ILC event, headline sponsored by Corelogic along with sponsors Polygon, QuestGates and RSK Raw, will bring together more than 180 key influencers from the sector to share insights about the environmental challenges facing the home and property claims industry.
It will address new legislation, building regulation, carbon emissions and sustainability, considering the potential cost implications, how the industry is responding now and what it will have to do in the immediate future.
Chairman of ILC Home and Property Claims Alan Soutar will open the event, before a keynote presentation from Lucy Thomas, Director, RSK Group is followed by a panel discussion featuring: Alastair Smith, Head of Procurement Operations, Direct Line Group; Sarah Dodd, Founder, Tree Law; and Jeremy Sykes, Chief Strategy Officer, Polygon Europe, which will explore environmental legislation and its impact across the sector.
A full afternoon agenda begins with successive panel debates around automation and carbon footprint.
Laura Lazarus, Supply Chain Lead, Property & Specialist Lines, Aviva; Jennifer Greene, Personal Lines Property Claims Operations Manager, Ageas; Brian Ford, SLVR CLD; and Marco Marambo, Director, Procurato will share insights about new autonomous technology entering the market and potential environmental gains, before, Andrew Waddelove, Head of Sustainability, LV=; Mark Devanney, Sales & Marketing Director, Surestop; and Hannah Dixon, Client Director, Sedgwick will consider the realities of reducing both carbon footprint and cost.
The dedicated event will conclude by focusing on current and future challenges and opportunities presented by the wider move towards sustainability.
Michael Porter, SVP International, Corelogic, will deliver a keynote presentation on the sustainability gains that can be made through digital transformation in claims, before two further panel discussions will address data and sustainability through the supply chain.
Taking part in the first discussion will be Matt Jackson, Head of Supply Chain, AXA Insurance; Matt Brady, Group Managing Director, Claims Consortium Group; and Michael Porter, SVP International, Corelogic, before William Quibell, Head of Supply Chain, Admiral Insurance; Richard Lawrence, Technical & Complex Loss Director, QuestGates; Neale Vickery, UK National Manager, Corroventa; and Ian Gibbs, National Technical Manager, Sedgwick will ask how businesses can help their supply chains support a shift to sustainable operations.
