Allianz appoints new CCO

Allianz Holdings has named Ashish Patel as its new Chief Operating Officer.

Having worked for the Allianz Group for nine years, previously as head of Allianz Technology India and most recently as lead of the Global Delivery Network for Allianz Technology, he will now oversee the group’s digital transformation.

Colm Holmes, CEO of Allianz Holdings, said, “I’m very pleased to welcome Ashish to his new role and the Allianz Holdings executive committee. The experience and insight he will bring to our business puts us in a fantastic position to achieve our transformation ambitions.

Meanwhile, Gracechurch, which regularly surveys brokers, has rated Allianz’s services as best in class for claims notifications across all lines of business. The survey identified its claims hub, quick responses, efficient handling and settlements as
