Claims Director at The AA, Gary Barker has raised over £4,500 for The Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity by rowing a marathon on a Concept 2 indoor rowing machine.
He completed the incredible 26.2-mile distance in a time of 3hrs 25mins.
Gary said, “A massive thank you to all of you for your wonderful support. It was a challenging but enjoyable experience and I was pretty tired at the end but delighted that we have raised so much money together for the Rainbow Trust – but it could be sometime before I get on a rower again.”
The Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity supports families who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness, giving them practical and emotional support whenever they need it, and for as long as they need it.
