Claims industry set to break £1m fundraising barrier

ILC’s Motor Claims Networking Lunch, which takes place on Friday 25 March, looks set to break the £1m fundraising barrier for children’s charity, Rainbow Trust.

The annual event, headline partnered by Enterprise Rent-A-Car, will see key persons of influence from across the motor claims insurance sector gather to help raise much-needed funds for the charity which supports families with seriously ill children.

This year – the 12th staging of the event – will feature special sporting guests and tv personalities, Matt Dawson and Phil Tufnell, along with presenter and auctioneer Jonny Gould.

The event, backed by gold sponsors Solera Audatex; Digilog; Nationwide Vehicle Recovery Assistance; and SureTrack, along with silver sponsors Edam; CMG; Fix Auto; and Auto Windscreens, includes a host of fundraising activities including a prize draw, silent auction and live auction.

Included in this year’s auction lots on offer are some incredible prizes donated from the industry including the ever-popular ‘lunch with the legends’; helicopter flight meet and greet with an ex-professional footballer; Silverstone race car experience; and, of the course, the famous ILC Teddy Bear.

Mark Hadaway, ILC managing director, said, “The much-anticipated ILC Motor Claims Networking Lunch 2022 – an event normally hosted in January – is now very nearly upon us and to think we might break through the £1m fundraising barrier for our charity partner, Rainbow Trust, is simply incredible.

“Thank you to all the ILC community for their ongoing support in making the motor lunch one of the ‘must attend’ events within the industry calendar and putting us on the cusp of achieving an amazing milestone.”

ILC would like to thank its corporate partners AkzoNobel, Autoglass, CAPS, Carpenters Group, Copart, Davies, e2e, Entegral, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Gemini ARC, GT Motive, Hills/The Green Parts Specialists, IAA, Innovation Group, S&G Response, Sherwin Williams, and thingco, as well as its Insurer and Industry Body Partners Ageas, Aioi Nissay Dowa Europe, Aviva, Covea, ERS, insure the box, LV=, Markerstudy, MGAA, Modern Insurance Magazine, pukka insure, Sabre, Swinton Group, Tesco Underwriting, Thatcham Research, Toyota Insurance Services and Zurich for all their support.
