Compliancy surgery session set for MGA Claims Conference

ILC’s MGA Claims Conference is set to host a risk and compliancy surgery session to highlight the very real challenges that can spell success or disaster for individuals and business.

Hosted by Suneeta Padda, Managing Director of Padda Consulting – a London based compliance consultancy, focused on helping the insurance industry maintain and achieve regulatory compliance – the session will determine the top dos and don’ts for claims directors and compliance specialists.

Supported by gold sponsors Claims Consortium Group, Clearspeed, Davies Group, DWF360 and EDAM Group, along with silver sponsors Robertson & Co, Vitesse PSP and Wiser Academy ILC’s MGA Claims Conference, held in association with the Managing General Agent Association (MGAA), takes place on Wednesday 28 September at 155 Bishopsgate, London.

The event will focus on the growing influence of the MGA sector which now accounts for more than 30% the UK insurance market and is a ‘must attend’ for MGAs, insurers, capacity providers and claims suppliers throughout the UK and Europe, and across all lines of business and claims.

Stuart Ballantyne, chair of ILC’s MGA division, said, “This really is a ‘hire or fire’ session, highlighting the critical areas individuals and businesses need to be acutely aware of as they navigate the ever-changing regulatory landscape of claims.

“The session will openly explore what keeps claims directors and compliance teams awake at night and why – and offer delegates the knowledge to adopt the necessary compliance procedures within their own operations.”

Suneeta has undertaken and managed a wide range of regulatory engagements for numerous insurance firms, holding senior positions within a number of these firms, including: Head of Group Compliance and Risk at Howden Broking Group; Interim Head of Compliance at Lloyd’s of London; and, more recently, working with StarStone International as the International Director of Compliance.

Alongside key conference sessions, the event will offer a host of engagement opportunities from hands-on exhibitions and in-person networking, through to key partner insights and a post-event drinks reception.
