GT Motive is supporting Thatcham Research’s VDA Apprenticeship Programme by providing apprentices with unrestricted access to its estimating platform.
The programme was launched in 2021 to offer students a blended approach to learning, including practical training and digital assignments.
Executive Director of GT Motive David Vella said, “It’s really important to bring new talent into the repair industry and we are proud to do our little bit to support it. Thatcham’s new apprenticeship training is a brilliant programme and we’re thrilled to be able to provide these new repairers with the tools to enter the industry with valuable skills and experience. These students are the future of this industry, there’s nothing more important than supporting that.”
Dean Lander, Head of Repair Sector Services at Thatcham Research, added, “Access to GT Motives estimating platform will benefit students and their employers in many ways. None more so than ensuring all students have access to estimating software for workplace study. Through this offer GT Motive have been able to remove any cost burden for employers, therefore focusing purely on the learner’s education.”
