Ageas selects Amazon
Ageas will sell its personal lines home insurance policies through the new Amazon Insurance Store through a new product called ‘Ageas Select’.
“Ageas’s position as one of the first participating insurers for the new Amazon Insurance Store is further evidence of the success of our multi-channel, electronically-traded personal lines business,” said Ant Middle, Ageas UK CEO.
Aviva warns of ‘perfect mix of mayhem’ claims
According to Aviva home claims data from the last five years, malicious damage claims increased by 21% during the months of October and November, compared to the monthly average.
Home theft claims were also found to rise by 23% during the same months.
