ABI welcomes FCA leaseholder building reforms

ILC is delighted to announce the signing of First Central as its latest Insurer Partner, a move that extends the longstanding collaboration between the two organisations.

Fraudster faces payback bill

Serial fraudster Hamid Sediqi has been ordered to pay back £210,000 after orchestrating 62 fraudulent motor insurance claims. This follows proceedings brought by the City of London Police’s Insurance Fraud Enforcement Department (IFED).

Sediqi was jailed in 2021 and faces a further five years behind bars if he fails to meet repayments.

Belron shows charity spirit

Belron has announced that its annual charity event, the Spirit of Belron Challenge (SOBC), has raised £2.17m for its partner charity Afrika Tikkun.

More than 12,000 participants swam, cycled, ran, walked or travelled by wheelchair to raise money for the charity.

Tool theft on the rise

A Freedom of Information request by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has revealed that tool theft from vans has risen by 33% since 2020.
