More than £85,000 was raised for the Rainbow Trust at last month’s I Love Claims (ILC) Motor Claims Networking Lunch, taking total fundraising efforts for the charity past the £1m barrier.
The 12th staging of the event – headline-sponsored by Enterprise Rent-A-Car – took place at The Grand Connaught Rooms, London, on 25 March, when the ILC community gathered for an entertaining afternoon of games, live and silent auctions, as well as prize draws.
Chris Ashworth, Chairman of ILC, said, “Every year we’re amazed at the incredible support our ILC partners show for both this event and the Rainbow Trust Charity. Surpassing the £1m landmark really is beyond anything we could have expected when we first set out.
“I can’t thank the ILC community enough. Their generosity makes such a big difference to the charity and encourages us now to set our sights on the next £1m.”
The Rainbow Trust Charity supports families who have a child with life-threatening or terminal illness.
Alongside Enterprise Rent-A-Car, the event was also supported by Corporate Partners AkzoNobel; Autoglass; Carpenters Group; CAPS; Copart; Davies Group; e2e Total Loss Vehicle Management; Entegral; Gemini ARC; GT Motive; IAA; The Green Parts Specialists; Innovation Group; S&G Response; Sherwin Williams; and ThingCo.
Gold Event Sponsors were Digilog; Nationwide Vehicle Recovery Assistance; Solera Audatex; and Suretrak, while Auto Windscreens; CMG; Edam Group; and Fix Auto UK were Silver Event Sponsors.
