
Some of the UK’s leading insurers have already shown their support for ILC’s newly launched New Generation in Claims event.
Amongst those who have already expressed a keen interest in the subject matter and committed attendance at the event are Admiral Group Plc, Aioi Nissay Dowa Europe, Aviva Insurance, Ecclesiastical Insurance, esure, First Central and Marshmallow.
Headline sponsored by specialist training provider Wiser Academy, the inaugural ILC New Generation in Claims event will take place at etc.venues Manchester on 26 April.
Shining a light on the widely acknowledged and frequently talked about requirement for new people – both younger generations and from a broad diversity of experiences – the New Generation in Claims event aims to unpick the current state of talent acquisition and retention within the sector.
The day’s agenda will support attendees to understand what factors are at play influencing talent recruitment, retention and upskilling; how people challenges can influence positive change across business; and openly discuss the skills requirements within claims for the future.
The event – which includes attendees from a rich cross-section of the claims industry including actuaries, insurers, loss adjusters, MGAs, suppliers and underwriters – is targeted at those involved in any function of HR, recruitment, and training, as well as team leaders.
