Market turbulence is to come under the spotlight at ILC’s MGA Claims Conference as Tom Helm, Head of Claims Consulting, WTW explores how pricing, underwriting, and claims need to work in harmony to deliver the targeted loss ratio.
The session – ‘Tackling Turbulent Times’ – will see Tom unravel what has happened across the insurance sector in recent years; highlight the current market trends; and explore how MGA can optimise the outcomes of these findings.
Tom said, “After a few testing years for the industry with high levels of inflation and some poor underwriting results, we will explore what lessons MGAs can take from this period, highlighting why pricing, underwriting, and claims collaboration is vital to success and gaining a competitive advantage.”
Held in association with the Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA), ILC’s MGA Claims Conference takes place on 28 September at 155 Bishopsgate, London and is supported by Headline Sponsor Claims Consortium Group (CCG); Gold Sponsors: Activate Group, Carpenters Group, EDAM Group, Enterprise, Pulse, Value Checkers, and Wiser Academy, all of whom will feature in the exhibition arena.
