ILC will lift the lid on claims across the MGA space when it hosts the MGA Claims Conference at 155 Bishopsgate, London, on Thursday 28 September.
The event, aimed at MGAs, insurers, capacity providers and claims suppliers, will cover motor, home, commercial and niche product lines, with a key focus on the claims versus underwriting debate.
Experts from both sides of the argument will consider who is at fault when the loss ratio is too high, while the innovations that are shaping and changing the sector will also be discussed and explained during a full schedule of keynote addresses, presentations and panel debates.
Held in association with the Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA), Mike Keating, CEO, said, “Bringing MGAs together to centralise their focus on claims and highlight both the challenges and opportunities this can bring, provides great potential for both MGAs and supply chains alike. This year’s conference carries even more importance given the current economic climate, claims inflation and an increase in fraud necessitating greater stakeholder collaboration in meeting customer expectations whilst protecting underlying profits.
“The UK & ROI MGA market is valued at circa £8.5bn currently and continues to become a highly influential and significantly valued component of the insurance claims
sector.”
The event will also offer a host of engagement opportunities from hands-on exhibitions and in-person networking, through to key partner insights and a post-event drinks reception.
