Integrated mobility services provider Redde Northgate has confirmed its interest in acquiring Nationwide Accident Repair Services.
Redde Northgate was formed through the merger of light commercial vehicle hire business Northgate and support services company Redde earlier this year.
Oxfordshire-based Nationwide deals with more than 300,000 repair incidents per annum, operating from 115 equipped repair centres, a UK-wide mobile repair network, a UK wide mobile glass repair and replacement network, 21 Rapid Repair centres and an accident management and claims handling service.
Redde Northgate said that it believes the network of body shops and customer base would be a good strategic addition to its business.
If a transaction does take place, it will be funded through Redde Northgate’s own cash resources.
