Theory and practice set for discussions

Both the theory and practice of ensuring positive consumer experiences will come under the spotlight during ILC’s inaugural risk and compliance event themed: Consumers – more than just a duty.

The event, which takes place on 15 November at etc venues, Manchester is set to discuss how insurers and supply chains can work together to optimise the consumer journey whilst continuing to satisfy legislation and navigating heightened socio-economic challenges.

Supported by Suneeta Padda, Managing Director of London-based compliance consultancy, Padda Consulting, the event will unpick the impacts – three months on – from the new Consumer Duty regulations focusing on the potential positive impacts it offers across the sector.

Other significant areas of impact set to come under the spotlight during the day will be consumer-centric innovation and a look at how technology is influencing strategies; fraud prevention and its impact on consumer confidence; and building trust through cultures and ethical practices.

Insights highlighting collaboration, change and practical strategies will be a key feature throughout the event.
