Richard King, founder and CEO of Ticker, is set to share his unique insights into insurance at the ILC Exclusive Motor Claims Conference in October.
Ticker is a next-generation digital motor insurer leveraging connected car data and data science across every aspect of its business, including pricing, underwriting, customer engagement and claims.
Prior to Ticker, Richard was the founder and CEO of ingenie, one of the first connected motor insurers in the UK, which was acquired for £100m in 2015. From 2016 to 2019, he was a seed investor and non-exec of Neos – the UK’s first connected home insurer, which was acquired by Sky TV in 2021.
In the early part of his career, Richard was co-founder of Innovation Group, which developed a motor claims ecosystem, listed on the London market and entered the FTSE 250.
Chris Ashworth, founder of ILC said, “As well as raising awareness of the issues in motor claims in the boardrooms of UK insurers, we love bringing the latest developments in the world of insurance to our community. I am super excited that Richard has agreed to share his expertise and experience with us for the very first time in this kind of environment.”
With more than 50 key decision makers from many of the UK’s leading insurers in attendance, the event will see experts from leading insurers, insurtech, and supply chain specialists delve into the current workings of the sector and share their respective insights on how the market is evolving.
Alongside the more formal proceedings, the day will also allow plenty of time for networking including a post-event drinks reception.
Taking place on Thursday 5 October at Landing Forty-Two, London, the Exclusive Motor Claims Conference is headline sponsored by Enterprise along with sponsors Clearspeed, EDAM Group and Wiser Academy.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for this unique event – providing a truly ‘up close and personal’ environment for sponsors to directly reach a highly targeted audience. To find out more email jonathan@iloveclaims.com
