Five automotive and insurance industry professionals will cycle 1,185 miles to raise money for mental health charities, Mind and Young Mind.
Martyn Rowley and Pablo Liñares of GT Motive, Victoria Turner from Activate Accident, Les Bickerstaffe of HB Accident Repair Network, and Mark Stuart of MotoFix ARC – collectively named Tour De Mind – will ride from Oxford to A Coruña, Spain on a 10-day trip starting on 26 August.
Martyn said, “In 2022 one of our industry colleagues and good friend was personally affected by suicide. So, we decided that in order to support our colleague and their family, we would create this group of industry professionals and we would take on this crazy challenge and cycle all the way to Spain to raise munch needed funds for mental health charities that provide support to those experiencing mental health problems.”
The group will also be riding in support of YoungMinds, which campaigns for a world where no young person feels alone with their mental health.
